Kevin Hatch's beautiful coats of arms are a cross between the novels A Song of Ice and Fire (G.R.R. Martin's series of novels that served as the basis for the TV series Game of Thrones) and the Germanic coat of arms painting style.
The House Tyrell crest was not created by Kevin Hatch, but since it is an important dynasty, I created a version for the fans based on the original Hatch artwork.

Sussi 1860 ball gown - with minor edits

I made some minor changes to this mesh.
I rounded the edge of the train and adjusted it a bit on the skirt.
Not a big change.
I spent most of my time editing this UV map.
The skirt and top are now no longer separated on UV.
It's a bit easier to create new textures for it
The mesh is an independent instance, it does not overwrite Sussi's original mesh.
But the textures of the original version don't match it

In the package you will find a psd file that also contains the new uv map.
In addition, I also included the test texture (cream-white lace dress) from the bodyshop, the alpha and normal map (bump map) image files, for those who like color actions.

Skyrim Immersive Jewellery - selection

Well, a few Skyrim jewelry conversions have been completed in the past few days. 10 earrings for adult women only, a circlet for teen and adult women, an amulet, also for adult women only, with two extra recolors, and the Evenstar necklace in adult female and male versions. The latter is just LBB. Only Bodyshop photos, later, if I feel like it, maybe there will be a CAS photo, although I have so many unfinished projects that this is unlikely for now.

In the past months, I learned a lot about mesh creation, conversion, and applying them to TS2.
I like to search for new and new things, and among the xps-xnalara stuff on deviantart I have come across countless interesting finds.

Important!
I'd like to point out that I make my non-Sims stuff without knowing the games from which it originated. I don't know what these games are about. I was informed only from the information found on the internet.

First of all, I'm going to bring you a pilgrim-era bonnet, which I found among XNAShane's excerpts.
It's worn by a rather scary little girl who, however, has exactly the kind of bonnet I've been wanting for a long time.
I successfully converted it to TS2, however during testing with kidinthenight we found it to be unfortunately too small and only suitable for very small volume hair wear.
That's why I made a wider and taller version based on the SkySims "Helena" hairstyle.
In the album you can find some suggestions for suitable hairstyles.

Rococo hats - 4to2 conversions, Acanthus from Sims' works

I found these hats in the collections of Acanthus Sims, who is a great TS4 CC creator and is devoted to historical style and especially Rococo era fashion.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to convert your beautiful hats one-to-one, as the mapping and textures of the TS4 accessories are not very comfortable.
The number of polygons also caused some problems, which was not completely eliminated.
So the hats have a high polygon count.

The first is Acanthus Sims' bergere hat, which was one of the popular headdresses of the Rococo period.

Rococo dresses - new franken meshes

These past few months I amused myself by studying body and dress mesh making.

As a result, several franken meshes were created, the testing of which was taken over from me by the great team of the Historical Sims Discord channel.
A huge thank you to everyone!

Special thanks to the Metropolitan Museum and the Victoria&Albert Museum for the many images.

These outfits are made from the old rococo mesh of Sim Ages, and the slippers for the two more elaborate outfits are TS4 conversions from the original mesh Regal Sims.

(note: It cannot be used with his original textures, because the size and layout of the TS4 texture is not really conducive to more detailed textures.)

There aren't too many textures, but as time allows, more will be made.

Only a nobleman with his own estate could wear it.

Multi alpha-layaered victorian crinolines - new franken mesh

I've been wanting a mesh like this for a long time.
I love the crinoline era, the excessively fluffy, lacy, ruffled dresses of the era.
Sussi's old crinoline was the basic mesh, of which I first straightened the skirt part - the first crinolines were made from this first with the help of Cakeyy and then LizCrea - then i added some alpha layers.
I used an also old Sims Markplatz mesh as a study, and since I don't feel confident enough to build a completely independent mesh yet, I used Schonnenschein's meshes

as a base several times. (Okay, I know it's cheating, but maybe this way I can be more sure that there won't be any problems in game.)

It comes with three textures, af-yf-ef, and the tf version.
One of the adult dresses is a white silk with lots of lace and ruffled sleeves, the second was inspired by a portrait of Empress Elisabeth as a young empress,

while the third is a dark blue dress with silver lace.
For the teen version, I wanted to make white in addition to the dark blue and gold lace, but somehow I ended up with only pink.
It has a bit of a confectioner's cake effect, but it's cute.

Note:
Due to the large circumference of the skirts, the arms sink into the dress - but those who use a similar type of mesh in a historical hood may already be used to this.

Archiving the Plumb Bob Keep

As some of you may have noticed, the Plumb Bob Keep site has been down for several days. At this time, we do not know anything about the future of the site; we have no contact with Sunni's family, who pay for it.

Since the future of the site is uncertain, we are calling for all hands on deck to help us try to archive as much of the downloads as possible: images, text, links and actual download zips. We will primarily be using the Wayback Machine, but as Google searching was only turned on in the last year, many things will not be accessible.

Fire_flower has created a spreadsheet to help organize the effort and allow us to see where the gaps are. This will be step one of the process, before we dive into our personal collections.

Hello everyone!
I disappeared, but I have an excuse. (it's nice how it is)
I have devoted the past period to studying and I think it has been quite productive weeks.
Among my many works in progress are bodyshop mesh repair, conversion and repair of jewelry, hats and other accessories, conversion of items from other games (for now only deco stuff).
And of course practicing the dreaded bone assignment.

But I also devoted a lot of time to researching these game extracts.

The place I found a real treasure trove is deviantart, where I've been sharing photos of my own drawings, crafts, and Sims 2 stuff for years.

Separated collar from the dress of Grand Duchess Katharina by Lowedeus. It doesn't have Maxis size yet, but it will.

A "franken mesh".
The barbette hat was made by Wawa, the veil was part of one of Helga's hairstyles.

Bipsouille's Tudor or French headdress, which was also part of a hairstyle.
I struggled with it a lot before it became a stand-alone accessory.
I sincerely thank Theraven, who hastened to help me with his good advice here as well.
The veil is Cynnix's Simple veil because the original veil became unusable after export.

The necklace comes from The Witcher game. Its original extract and xnlara conversion are the work of Moogleoutfitter, re-uploaded to Deviantart by SonYuMe.

This bonnet is made of Cynnix's Flemish Hood and Mussi's sailor bow, which I designed especially for my Hungarian clothes. LizCrea helped put this into final form.
I thank him for a lot of help and inspiration.

This decorative comb is my greatest pride. I created it from pieces of The Witcher jewelry.

This collar is by Kozakowy. You can see it here with the corresponding clothes and jewelry.

The outfit was converted by Lezishell.

This was the first version of old hat.
We made the final version with Cupcakeyy, in which the flowers are not like this. The reason is that the polygon count of this version was a bit high, and I was unsure about that, so I sent another mesh to CK instead. But in the end - I think - everyone decides for himself what his machine can handle.
I cut the hat from a VitaSims hatter's hair and then put different decorations on it. The feathers - if I remember correctly - come from one of Lidiqnata's hairstyles, and the flowers from one of Ran417's beautiful Chinese flower arrangements.

And there will be more.
These jewels have a great feature. The gems are surrounded by an alpha-editable socket, which gives me quite a bit of room for my imagination.

TS3 conversion. The texture is not very good. But this is just a test.
The TS3 collection called India Inspire - or something like that - included two beautiful hairstyles that had the jewelry removed during the conversion. Fortunately, only with alpha editing, so the mesh of the jewels remained on the mesh.
This one belonged to a beautiful hairstyle called Elegant Teardrop.
Now it is a piece of jewelry that can be used independently.
And as you can see in the photo, it looks quite good on other types of hairstyles.

Among the characters extracted by Mougleoutfitters, it is worn by a lady from Beauclaire.

Anna Henrietta's tiara. I plan to make it as a crown as well, because now it's just a semicircular piece of jewelry.

But it was so beautiful that I couldn't miss it.

I don't know the game, so I don't know who Chang'e is, but the lady has a few other cool things that I plan to "steal"

XNAShane among his conversions, I found a rather scary little girl, who, however, has exactly the kind of bonnet I've been wanting for a long time.
I successfully converted it to TS2, however, during testing we found with kidinthenight that it is unfortunately too small and can only be used for very solid-sized hairdos. That's why I made a wider and taller version, which was based on SkySims "Helena" hairstyle.

First:
Surely everyone knows this dress, as it is typically medieval.
There are countless repaintings of "Epic Sleeves".
(Recently, 12Raben presented us with a lavish collection.)

I pulled away from him for a long time because I didn’t like the added sleeve. The front and back are fine, but the texture is heavily distorted on the outside and inside of the arm and at the bottom.
I noticed you quite disappointed that I could not put embellishments on his shoulders.
Because I wanted to transform the textures of my Game of the Thrones clothing into this mesh.

I worked quite a bit on the UV map all along, dreading that - as usual - I lost the skeleton.
But in the end it was solved and now the texture of the sleeves is spread out and the parts that have been distorted so far look good too.

Dear Everybody!
I’ve been chewing on this problem for a long time, and now I’ve finally come to a decision.

It is best to acknowledge the limits of our abilities and not waste time on "impossible missions" for us.

I accepted the fact that bodyshop mesh making is not my "specialty."
Every time I get to the point where the dress, or some accessory is ready in Milkshape, fits the “sim” everywhere, but what follows is already a series of nightmares and failures for me.

So I came up with the following solution:
Ms3d., Or obj. format finished stuff with test textures and preview images, packaged, uploaded and shared here and on my Dreamwidth page.

If someone feels like moving on with the workflow of a particular item, do so boldly.

I just want three things:

1. Indicate here on Dreamwidth, in a message, or in a post in Plumb Bob Keep that you have taken over the job.

2. Respect the original creators listed in the attached txt. Credit goes to everyone.

3. Share the finished mesh and at least one texture here or on the PBK. And wherever you want.

The Qypsy Queen - new dress mesh by LizCrea and me

Another great frankenmesh from LizCrea, starting with my little activity.

The mesh was based on the Bloom multi alpha dress, which you can find in its original form on the Insimmenator.
Sussi has a body shape with sexy feet and lots of alpha.

We combined this with one of Peggy’s ruffled clothes, which was originally a very thin-slender body shape.
LizCrea made two versions of it - both barefoot.
Until there is a shoe version, I recommend adding Bloom acc slippers. (Also Insimmenator)

The red silk and lace textures were inspired by LizCrea “Radda the moldovan gipsy queen” collection.
The black-red symbolizes the gypsies in Spain, while the colorful-floral version is a bit Hungarian.

The blue and white version shows a other usability of the mesh. This is maybe victorian underwear.

For the jewelry, I used our previously shared crown mesh, as well as Peggy’s well-known necklace mesh and Aikea Guinea men’s bracelets, which I converted to unisex with the help of SimPe.

The hussar and the gypsy voivode - new franken mesh

This is a new frankenmesh made by LizCrea, with my little contribution.
It is based on the RoseSims fantasy-anime menswear net.

The boots were converted from TS4, the post-editing was done by me.

The lady is Sophie Turner. I don't even count how many versions.
It's the best so far, I think.

Her hairstyle is custom - I was lazy, sorry - and one of my big favorites. Creation, re-texturing and coloring by AdeLanaSP - me.
The dress is the new love, although I have objections to the mesht, but since I can’t make a body-mesht, I prefer not to say anything and texture enthusiastically.
It’s not specifically a Game of Thrones style, but it has become like that now.
There will be another one later.

Infamous Bathorys

Did you think you already know everything about the Báthor family?
Erzsébet Báthory was only one of the infamous family members.

Maybe 20 years ago I got my hands on a book called The Infamous Baths.
The work of renowned researchers and medical historians. It analyzes the lives of four very ill-remembered members of a family with an ancient, glorious past.

Descendants have endowed them with all sorts of sonorous adjectives, and the world — often wrongly — thinks these four people are devilishly evil.
"The Hungarian Borgias", beasts, dragon breeds!
I brought three of the four Báthori - or Báthory - today.

Here is the "Monster of Csejthe", the "bloody countess" , Erzsébet (Elisabeth) Báthori.
(He wrote his name like this, didn't use the fashionable letter 'y' instead of 'i')

Everyone knows the story of Elisabeth. Or you think you know him.
Historians, of course, have always disputed the legend of bathing in blood. Biological inability because the spilled blood coagulates. But the superstition found an explanation for everything.
According to the author of the above-mentioned book, Elizabeth was probably a more sadistic man who, abusing his social position, was free to exercise his sick desires.

However, recent research - a new portrait has come out in the meantime - is seen as a victim of a conceptual lawsuit.
Whose only sin was his tremendous fortune.

(Elizabeth's dress is unfortunately not perfect. The texture of the mesh is very distorted at the top, but I definitely wanted a collar like this.)

Gábor Báthory was the prince of Transylvania, you can read more about his reign here.

His father, István (Stephen) Báthori, was the cousin of Elizabeth.
(In some places, it is mistakenly written that Erzsébet Báthori was the aunt of Gábor, and Anna)
One of my favorite readings is one of the heroes of the novel The Devil’s Chariot, a tragically destined young murdered prince who really didn’t set limits on his desires. Her favorite little one kept a list of the prince’s lovers, whose main purpose in life was to seduce a thousand women. The writer, although he did not like the Báthory family, did not deny that it was all a consequence of free, immoral behavior, privileged noble upbringing, and "bad company."

Gábor was only 24 years old when he was killed during a rebellion. According to legend, his corpse lay buried in the place of his death for 15 years, until he was finally buried on the instructions of his successor, Gábor Bethlen.
(It may seem like a generous gesture, although according to some sources, the instigator of the rebels and the cause of Gábor's death was Gábor Bethlen)

I made the "version" of Gábor's sims based on the bust at his grave.

Anna, the incest, child killer, witch

Official biography, Wikipedia

He was born in 1594 as the child of István Báthory of Somlyó (1553–1601), chief of Kraszna County and Zsuzsanna Bebek of Pelsőczi († 1595). After the early deaths of his mother and father, he and his brothers came under the guardianship of his relative, István Báthori, a court judge, who adopted the orphaned children, on the condition that they convert to the Protestant faith. However, his guardian died four years later, on July 25, 1605, leaving a huge fortune to the Báthory orphans. Anna's brother, Gábor István Bocskai, went to the court of Transylvania in Košice as an expectant of the princely throne.

Anna married Dénes Bánffy in Losonc on 11 November 1608 in Cluj-Napoca, but she remained a widow in 1612 and married Zsigmond Jósika the following year. He was sentenced in 1621 to death and confiscation of his property for his immoral, adulterous lifestyle, killing his child, and witchcraft. His only son, Gábor Jósika, grew up in the court of palatine Miklós Esterházy. He was the ancestor of the Jósika family in Branyicska, who were promoted to baronhood in 1698.
(One of his descendants was the first Hungarian "betseller" writer of the 19th century, Miklós Jósika.)

According to László Nagy (Hungarian poet, translator, writer), the lawsuit against Anna Báthory, like the lawsuits against [i]Kata Török[/i] and [i]Mrs. Imreffy (One of Gábor's lovers)[/i], was a conceptual procedure, which was in fact aimed at acquiring the estates of the women. Eventually, Anna Báthory was pardoned by Gábor Bethlen, who, according to a contemporary account, tried to seduce her in Nagykereki Castle, and was deprived of her possessions alone. He probably fled to Poland and then returned to Transylvania after the death of Gábor Bethlen to recover his confiscated property. From 1636 he lived on the bread of grace in the court of palatine Miklós Esterházy in Hungary.

With whom did the sister of "Cassanova of Transylvania" commit an incest?

In the novel The Devil's Chariot, for the first time, they only slept side by side because Anna was afraid in their new home, at the strict, Protestant uncle. However, Gábor's intention to protect his sister was misunderstood by the maids.
When Gábor went to the prince's court, Anna was left alone in her uncle's castle, which stood in a swampy countryside.
He lived freely, no one raised him.
In one of the chapters of the novel, a visitor arrives at the castle. The famous beautiful woman, the illustrated figure of the imperial court, Erzsébet Báthori. Anna walks into her messy outfit, messy, with a wreath of wildflowers on her head to greet her. The "aunt" and her entourage laugh at her appearance.
"Look, little bog witch, or maybe it's a fairy?"
Anna is offended, but the "aunt" quickly reassures her.

The Devil's Chariot is also the name of a plant in Hungary.
"The flowering period is from July to the end of September. In the fall, the whole plant breaks off at its own base and rolls like a 'devil's chariot', chasing it from the wind."

The title of the novel refers to the fate of Anna. She is a noble girl, the sister of the Prince of Transylvania, a famous beautiful woman, and then a persecuted, plundered, exiled woman whose tomb is not even known.
Just like Countess Elizabeth.

No portraits of him have survived. The writer of the Devil's Chariot describes him as a girl with brown skin, dark hair and eyes.
In the books of another great Hungarian writer, she is a girl with a fragile figure, reddish-blonde, blue eyes and snow-white skin.

So I created Anna based on my imagination and based on her brother's statue.

Gypsy bride jewel sets - a little exotic tradition

I think people know little about gypsy culture and lifestyle.
"Oh, gypsies are very free souls, bohemian people. Colorful clothes, shawls, glittering gold jewelry, dancing, music, passionate temperament, etc."
The origins of the words "bohemian" and "boho" are also interesting.

Bohemian - French: Bohéme (irresponsible <nomadic gypsy)
Bohemian or Duchy of Bohemia (Czech Republic, because gypsies came to France from here)
Latin: Boiohaemum (name of the territory of today's Czech Republic) <Celtic: boii (tribal name; "warrior") + Haimaz (home)

In this piece of our jewelry work, in which my co-creator was Mayaram, we wanted to introduce you to a lovely gypsy tradition.
Gypsy girls are married relatively quickly, although today early weddings are not necessarily followed by traditional female destiny. After the wedding, the young people continue their studies and when the time comes, the marriage also “takes the stage”.

The gypsy bride receives a crown-like headdress on the day of her wedding, mostly from her godfather, but only if she is still a virgin.

These wedding jewelry are made of expensive materials for affluent gypsy families. But whatever the financial situation of a gypsy family, the sacred of tradition and the treasure of the family, the "pure" girl with a crown on her head goes before an altar.

For the crowns, we made new meshes with Mayaram, which can of course be used for other purposes as well.
To design them, we looked through countless photos to make the finished work as authentic as possible.

The wedding coronation probably stems from the Orthodox Christian custom, which is known to favor medieval, Byzantine appearances.
The hanging ornaments on our crowns, above the forehead and on both sides of the head, also suggest this.

We basically made 5 sets, complete with a necklace, which, however, can be changed with the alpha editing of the mesh.

New crown meshes - a collaboration between LizCrea and maya40

Dear recolorists, sims players, conversion makers!
I ask you not to forget the slight little respect that goes to the original creators when redistributing. This applies to meshes and textures alike.

I’ve been wanting to make some jewelry for a long time that - unfortunately - didn’t match the existing mesh.
Most tiara mesh are too small and / or not very well designed.
(I have a similar problem with necklace meshes created for men, which unfortunately, with the exception of a single set of mesh I know, are all made for EAMaxis body shape and have not been addressed by anyone since.
Thus, these meshes sink into the larger chest-perimeter garments, or into the LBB and other male bodies.)

As a test, I made a very simple, "old School" mesh in Milkshape, for which I designed crowns, or tiaras surrounding the head.

During a longer correspondence - which took place between LizCrea and me - this stuff came up, and then we further brainstormed and developed my half-finished plan.
Thus, it eventually became a multi-crown mesh that essentially became a “3 in 1” piece of jewelry.
One crown section at the top of the head, another cylindrical crown around the forehead, and finally a hairpin ornament of Chinese origin was added, hanging on two sides.

This piece of jewelry is basically suitable for almost anything because it doesn’t distort the texture anywhere.
It does not repeat the detail of the texture, such as the crowns and tiaras of Wawa, which are excellent and very usable anyway.
This is especially important if the texture we are making is not symmetrical or not the same height on all sides.
Parts of the mesh composition can be freely edited or unnecessary details can be removed as needed.

I - quite selfishly - only thought of the female version, but thanks to the development of LizCrea, there were also two extra versions that were larger in diameter so they could be applied to a male head as well.

Middle Ages? Fantasy? Regency or Victorian?
Everything fits.
Since I still have a lot of plans, now I only brought you trial jewels made in accelerated mode.

(Basically, this hair made me start thinking about a new headdress mesh as most of the existing ones sank into the braided bun of the hairstyle.)

Since - LOTR fans don’t seem to care about Elessar’s crown, I couldn’t find a usable photo of the film’s version. :P
I didn’t want to work from cosplay stuff, but luckily I found only one usable processing.

Famous porcelains - VitaSims and MistyFluff coffe set recolors - part1.

Hello!
Sorry for the long absence.
Partly the ongoing project kept me away, partly some technical problems.

My Download folder seems to have eaten something bad and the game keeps crashing from that. :sick:
Recovery is still in progress, but unfortunately I had to empty the part of the folder that contains the unique things.
Luckily, the things I created didn’t cause a problem or get damaged.

But photography didn’t become something great that way.
That’s why I’m also enclosing photos taken in Milkshape and the Windows10 3D viewer now.

But let's get to the point.
It is with great pleasure that I share with you this small package which contains brand new items.
(I plan to make more textures for it later)

This set was originally created by VitaSims for the TS3. His name is Barocchina Kitchen.
Converted part of MistyFluff to Sims2.

My part in this workflow now was to redesign the amazing coffee set.
I separated what I knew and made a new UV map for them.

Important! The set is for decoration only.
Each dishes has its own GUID number, so anyone who wants to use the original can do so without any problems.
However, my textures can only be applied to my own copies.

The 6 pieces of the original VitaSims set became 12 + 1 pieces after separation.
The thirteenth is a tray that was not originally part of the kit. I did this.

The package includes new UV maps for repainters.

Famous porcelains - Raynus medieval kitchen plates recolors

I really like porcelain.
My original profession is porcelain and ceramic painter.
I haven’t been able to practice this wonderful craft in a long time, so it’s a pleasure for me to have some great meshs like Raynus ’set of plates for which I can create great sets using the slaved technique with relatively little work.

I have now brought you 14 sets with great samples from Europe’s famous porcelain factories.
Meissen, Herend, Sevres, Worchester, Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (Berlin) and a few more samples that I - probably - found on Pinterest, but I no longer remember where they were pinned.
(The truth is that this project is several years old, but I always forgot about it and didn’t have good photos)
Of course, this is not the end of the story, as Raynus' medieval kitchen is matched by simpler clay pots, so if all goes well, I may be able to show you the legacy of the famous potter dynasties in my hometown.

So now porcelain - and a gilded silver set from the British Royal Treasury - and a sequel will follow later.

Sevres, Worchester, Meissen

Somehow it’s like the putto is a favorite of porcelain painters in Sevres.
Tiny, chubby, winged kids have become symbols of love and fame under their hands.

Harmonious floral compositions, colorful ribbons, love and historical scenes, well-chosen colors, gilding, which, despite its significant amount, is not tasteless ...
This is Sevres style.

Fortunately, the collection of the Metropolitan Museum preserves a plethora of porcelain artifacts and an extremely large number of these are from Sevres.

Here I found a charming breakfast set donated by Napoleon I to Princess Auguste-Amélie, the wife of her stepson, Eugène Beauharnais.
A "war" of cute little cupid and nymphs was recorded in this set, almost like a comic.

Royal Worchester....for me it meant Baldwin's swans for a long time.
But while researching, I found so many wonderful photos from the creators of this long-established English porcelain factory, that I will be busy for a long time, by the time I processed everything I liked and saved.
